serena needed to go for a walk. she didn't know why, but sitting in the lonely room of her apartment was driving her insane. sitting indoors was not the thing for serena. all morning the sound of her dripping faucet and the neighbors piano was annoying her. it was just one of those days. her next door neighbor was the most annoying person on the planet to her. he was always playing the piano, and he wasn't even good. one time when she asked him to please stop, he ignored her and just played louder. so now whenever he played serena had to turn on her stereo, loud. or she would bust out her guitar and play some irritating noises to get back at him. serena could be a big royal biatch. when someone made her mad, she was the type of girl who would do something back. she never let anyone get away with anything. ever.
serena had no idea where she was going. she didn't know the place well enough to have any idea. it was just last week when she moved here, and she had been spending her time getting her apartment the way she liked it. her mom and dad were paying for her apartment. when she brought up the idea of living alone at sixteen, she never thought her parents would go for it. surprisingly, they did. serena didn't have to pay for a single thing. each month her parents would send her money, pay the rent, and she was to use the money for food, and the extra for whatever she pleased. her family was pretty wealthy, not that it mattered any. serena was never the type of girl to brag about what she had. one of these days serena was going to work on getting a job. she had never worked a day in her life, and it was about time she did something. serena spent her days watching tv, shopping, and doing schoolwork. school was the one thing she hated more than anything. she didn't know why she had to spend her time doing something she would never use in her life. when she was older she had dreams of becoming a musician, but she wasn't sure if that would ever happen. but hey, a girl could dream right?
eventually, serena found herself at the lake. it wasn't her first choice of where to go, but she didn't know where she was going to begin with, so she ended up here. looking around, she took in the scenery. the lake was really a beautiful place. serena never really had appreciation for scenery, but she couldn't deny that the place was beautiful. it was also peaceful. it was a lot better than listening to her neighbor play annoying piano music all day long. serena walked the edge of the lake, and eventually took off her shoes. there were a few rocks here and there, but she was avoiding them. serena was wearing a long shirt with leggings and a pair of black flats. she had no makeup on, which was a first for her. she just hoped that no one would see her like this. the lake seemed to be empty, so she was fine for now. she took a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill her lungs.
