marius was pretty sure that he had screwed everything up. or not. he wasn't sure. there were so many thoughts running through his head right now, and he didn't know what to think. it was all because he happened to press the send button on his IM. marius had told karolina that he liked her, and he just hoped that she liked him back. if not, he wouldn't know what to do. he was pretty sure that if she didn't like him back that it would turn a bit awkward. when marius said he liked a girl, he really meant it. marius wasn't the type of guy who lied about his feelings. sometimes he wasn't sure if he really liked a girl or not, but he knew that he liked karly. he was one hundred percent positive about that.
so now marius was on his way to the park, and karolina was to meet him there. inside, his whole body was nervous. marius had never felt this nervous in his life. he and karolina had started off as good friends, and he always enjoyed spending time with her. they also had a fun time. she seemed to bring out a part of him that not a lot of people had seen before, he didn't know how she did it. marius was walking with his hands in his pockets, whistling an elvis costello song that was stuck in his head. while he was IMing karolina, he was listening to elvis, his favorite artist. he was dressed in his favorite pair of jeans, converse, and a plaid shirt. it was an outfit that he wore often, but it was one of his favorite outfits.
looking up, he could see the park in the distance. the sounds of little kids laughing and having a good time filled his ears. smiling, he looked at them. he always missed being a little kid. it was such a peaceful time in his life, and sometimes he wished he could go back to being a kid. right now, he wanted to do anything but be here. if what karolina had to tell him was a good thing he would be the happiest boy in the world.. but if the news was bad he would want to go shrivel up in a corner.
marius was fearing that karolina didn't like him back, and everything would be awkward between them. that was the last thing he wanted. making his way over to a bench, marius ran his fingers through his curls. lucky enough, his hair was cooperating with him today, and he wasn't wearing a white mans afro. arriving at the bench, he took a deep breath and sat down. marius was a little early, something that he always was. marius was never the type of boy to be late for anything. he hated being late. marius looked down at his hands which were playing with a little hole in his jeans. if you watched his body language close enough, you could definitely see that he was nervous.

-----*----- She snapped at herself in her head. Biting her lip once more, Karolina slid down on the bench next to Marius, trying to hide her own nerves. "Hey, Marius! Sorry, I'm running a little later than I said I'd be. As usual." She chirped up, a small smile playing on her lips. It wasn't much, but it broke the silence, and Karolina really was just trying to buy herself a few more seconds before she had to face the truth and tell Marius that she liked him, too. notes: yours was good. sorry mine was rambly. and long. while marius was waiting for karly to get there, he was thinking about how they became friends. a lot of it was because she wasn't into a lot of bad things that other teens their age were doing. marius was glad he had never fallen into that trap. luckily, he was born with good parents, and good brothers who kept his head on straight. when he was going to make a bad decision his family was always there to tell him not to make that decision. without his family, he knew that his life would not be as amazing as it was not. that was another thing he liked about karly, she seemed to really care about others. marius had never liked people that only seemed to care about themselves. marius was generally a caring person. whenever someone needed something, he was there for them. again, it had to do with the way his parents raised him.
running through marius' head was a bunch of scrambled thoughts. one second he was thinking that karolina liked him, and the next moment he was thinking about how she couldn't possibly like him and that it had to be a joke. marius had been hurt in the past. many girls walked all over him and told him that they liked him when they could really care less about it. it made him a little guarded in the topic of love. but with karly he felt like something was different. he didn't know what it was. lately marius had been falling in love with her. he didn't think he was completely in love with her yet, but it was happening. he loved the way she smiled, and everything she said. at first, he was scared. but the thought that there was hope between them made him feel a little bit better. however, there was still that feeling in his gut that this was all a joke.
taking a deep breath, marius fiddled with a button on his shirt. he was so nervous, and there was no denying that. even people who didn't know anything about him could sense that he was nervous. marius looked up, and noticed that karolina was finally there with her bike. marius gulped. he had no idea what he was going to say to her, and his heart sped up a little bit. if his brothers were around right now, they would probably be laughing at him. they were great brothers, but they somehow always remembered all his little embarrassing moments. marius bit his lip a little bit, and smiled when she reached him. "nah, you're not late, i'm just early." truth was, she was a few minutes late, but he didn't mind. marius was just glad she wasn't standing him up. if she did, he would be very upset. he looked at her, thinking about how pretty she looked.
"so.. what is it that you have to tell me?" he asked. he had so much to tell her, and talk to her about, but he figured he'd give her the chance for her to say what she wanted to say first. in his head, he was searching for the right words to say. right now was not the time to be embarrassing himself. right now marius was nervously fiddling with his hair, and whatever else he could get his hands on. inside he was hoping that she couldn't sense how nervous he was. he started off by saying, "what i said in the IM was true, i do like you. but i don't want to ruin our friendship. soo, it is up to you." he hoped he wasn't rambling. he decided to just shut up, and let karly do the talking. the last thing he needed right now was for him to scare her away.

-----*----- Looking down to her lap, Karolina folded her hands. She considered her words carefully, and then closed her eyes. "I don't know why this is so hard to say," Came her next sentence, mostly to herself, but also somewhat there to fill the empty silence that seemed to come after her unfinished thought. Looking back to Marius, Karolina bit her lip and then finally urged herself to continue. "I wanted to tell you that... I like you, Marius. Not just as a friend. I freaked out and added that in at the last second in that IM. and..."Trailing off, Karolina felt herself blushing slightly. She sounded like a rambling mess, she was sure. The girl glanced away once more, taking this opportunity to gather a few more thoughts as she now fidgeted with another strand of her hair. Another nervous habit that she had developed, and she secretly hoped that Marius hadn't noticed. It was unlike her to be this nervous about anything. "...and, I don't know why I couldn't just tell you. I just didn't want to ruin anything, I guess." Looking up at her friend once more, she gave him a slightly sheepish smile. She was pretty sure that her entire speech had sounded utterly pathetic... but, it was out in the open now and there was no taking it back. She half wished that she would have just told him over the IM, but somehow she felt that this was better. More personal. And she opened that their friendship would still be there regardless. notes: -- word count: 704 without code. tagged: marius allen greene. outfit: clickiecredit: haley loser face ` at caution 2.0 for the template. status: done. jams: n/a [/ul]

marius usually looked nice. there wasn't a time where he ever went out looking bad. his parents never let him go out looking horrible. marius also always had nice clothes. his parents didn't have tons of money, but they made sure that him and his siblings had nice clothes and plenty of things. however, marius usually wore a lot of the same things. he owned a lot of plaid button up shirts, and he often wore white shirts. he was always having to buy more white shirts since he always found a way to stain his. marius was a very sloppy eater. when he wanted to eat, he was going to eat and usually it turned into a mess. it was worse when he was with his brothers, who usually started a food fight. it was part of the reason he loved to be around his brothers, he never knew what was going to happen.
waiting for a response, marius bit his lip. the few silent moments were killing him inside. marius had always been the patient type, but right now, he just wanted the moment to come. either she liked him, or she didn't. and either he could walk home tonight with a girlfriend, or he could head home all alone. honestly, marius did want her to be his girlfriend. and if she liked him, he would probably ask her. scratching his neck, he looked at all of the little kids playing on the slides. they had it so easy. they didn't have to worry about girls not liking them, or looking okay. the only thing they had to worry about was a scrape on their knee. sometimes, marius really wished he could go back to those days for just a little while. take a break from being a teenager.
noticing that karolina was fiddling with her hair, marius relaxed a little bit. he was now noticing that she was nervous too, and the thought of that made him calm. at least he wasn't the only one who was nervous. smiling a little, he listened to her talk. marius couldn't help but smile. all he could think about was how cute she was, and how much he wanted to be with her. of course he was listening to her, but at the same time he could not control his thoughts. that was one wrong thing about being a boy, he had thoughts and they were never controlled. no, he was not having perverted thoughts, but he was still having thoughts.
when she said that she liked him, he pulled her into a hug. he had nothing to say at that moment, so he just hugged her. after realizing what he did, he pulled away. "sorry," he said sheepishly. running his fingers through his hair, he looked at her. "well.. yeah you do know that i like you. and we both like each other, so really is there anything to ruin?" he asked. this was his way of seeing if she was interested in being with him. it was an indirect way of stating it, but it was still a question that he wanted to be answered.
notes: horrible. D: sorry!

-----*----- give dating a shot. It was like she was stuck between a rock and a hard place with her decisions... Karolina just couldn't sort it out with herself. Lost in her own thoughts, the teen nearly jumped as she felt Marius pull her into a hug. She shook her head slightly, clearing her mind before returning his hug. She could feel her heart quicken slightly, rather caught off guard by his action... but, nonetheless, happy by it. Pulling back, Karolina beamed at him for a second or two, shaking her head at his apology. "No need for sorry," She bit her lip, holding back another smile. She didn't think she could be much happier at the moment. But, she also didn't want to seem like all she could do was smile at the boy. It'd be completely out of character for herself. It'd be... odd. "...so really is there anything to ruin?" Karolina considered these words of his, once again her mind returning to her former thoughts. His stance was clear on this matter... but Karly found herself still reluctant. She knew what she wanted. She knew what Marius wanted. But, there was still a little voice in her head questioning the matter. "...I don't know, Marius. I mean, what if something went wrong; what would happen to our friendship?" She hesitated, looking at the boy. It was so unlike her to play the hesitant one. It was hard. But, Karolina somehow managed to do so. She gave him a small, slightly concerned, smile, folding her hands in her lap as she did so. "It's not that I don't want to give this a shot..." She added, a few seconds later, "I just... don't want to lose our friendship in the process." She wasn't sure if she was making sense at all; she felt like she was still rambling. But, she still felt the need to voice her thoughts. It couldn't make things anymore weird than they already were. notes: sorry for the delay in response.. and the crappy post here! this week has just been really busy. ^.^' word count: 524 with out code. tagged: marius allen greene. outfit: clickiecredit: haley loser face ` at caution 2.0 for the template. status: done. jams: n/a [/ul]

tyler crossed his arms and sat back in the bench a little bit. he was glad it was a nice day out, since he loved the outdoors. having this talk would be awkward inside a house on a pouring day. at least to marius it would be. taking a small breath he ran his fingers through his hair and looked at her. in his mind, she was the prettiest girl he had seen in his lifetime, and no other girl could compare to her.
marius really wanted to be with her, but thinking about it made him a bit nervous. what if they lost their friendship? marius wasn't sure if he could handle losing her as a friend. she was his best friend, and didn't want to lose her. she had always been there for him when he was going through a tough time, and he didn't want to ruin it by dating her, and not having it work out.
marius could tell that she was holding back a smile. he had known her for the longest time, so he could tell when she was going to smile. when she having a bad day, he could tell without her even saying anything to him. he was coming to understand why females did what they did. of course, having many female friends helped with that. most of his friends were girls, not because he was girl crazy, but because he was a good listener and was easy to talk to.
"i know what you mean.." he said, trailing off. he was trying to think of what else to say. right now, he was honestly thinking about kissing her. maybe that would help them both make up their mind on whether or not they wanted to be together. it would sure help him decide whether he wanted to stay friends, or if he wanted to take that next step further. slowly, he moved closer to her. "please don't be mad at me for this, but i just want to see." then, he leaned in and kissed her gently, closing his eyes. in his head he was hoping that she wouldn't pull away and get mad, because then he would be in a really bad mood. he was just hoping that she was okay with this.
notes: OMG! so sorry it is horrible. D:
