that there's eli. he's a city boy, born and raised in south detroit, and has just recently moved to serenade, making him the new kid. he's a mere seventeen years old, and is a senior at aspen hills academy. you can probably tell right off the bat that eli is confident in himself and his actions. some might go as far as to say conceited or arrogant, but he likes to think he's not obnoxious about it, and self-aware enough to believe it. but not only is he aware of himself, the kid is in tune everything around him. eli's crazy observant, and far more insightful than he looks, and he's very proud of that fact. don't get him wrong, while outgoing, witty, and easy to talk to, he's very tranquil and jovial, y'know, a go-with-the-flow kinda guy. that is, until you catch a glimpse of his temper. catch him on the wrong moment you'll suffer the rare explosive side of him. but that doesn't happen often. he is, however, fairly irritable, and gets unpredictably annoyed. but that's because he's pretty unpredictable in general. you can thank his spontaniety for that. eli trusts his instincts, and is therefore a leap-before-looking kind of person. if only he weren't so damn curious. being adventurous and too ambitious for his own good automatically makes him just a little bit rebellious. just a little, though. he's intelligent enough to let it go too far. he's honest and open about most things, but eli has a few things he'd like to keep a secret. his temper, for example. but shhh, he likes to hide that with the rest of his character flaws. while he can be extremely uncontrolled, eli carries himself in a very controlled manner, and so those fatal flaws often go unseen. eli has a habit of being a bit judgemental, but he prides himself on being reasonable despite this. something important you should know: the boy is more competitive than you'd ever think possible. there isn't a challenge that goes untouched. he's determined and motivated, and stubborn enough not to back down. he's loyal to both the promises he makes and the people close to him. all in all, he has the potential to be a great friend as well as a great enemy. that's eli in a nutshell. like him, love him, hate him, plot him. aaaaaaand... go.

so, i've got megan here. (: she's sixteen, and has lived most of her life here in serenade. she's very quiet at first, almost shy, but she warms up to people pretty quickly. and, she's very loyal to her friends. meggie also really cares a lot for people and will do anything to try to help them.

these two, i'm kinda stumped on... but, i thought i'd post meggie, too, just in case we could come up with something. i've also got karolina. i'm just muse-less, at the moment. (: any thoughts on meggie and eli?

karolina && eli ;;

alrightie, so i've got karolina here. (: karolina, or karly as she usually goes by, is a seventeen year old and is the mayor of serenade's daughter. she loves a good party, and is very outgoing. though she tries to act as if she doesn't care about anyone, she really does care for people. however, at the moment, she's trying to establish a image for herself that's goes against the typical "the mayor's daughter" image she's had her entire life. so, she's on a slight rebellious streak. she tries to keep her partying under wraps, because her father wouldn't approve of it at all. and she secretly goes care about her parents opinions somewhat.

so, that's karolina in a nutshell. once again, kinda brain-dead at the moment. but, maybe the possibility of friends... or frenemies? up to you. any thoughts? (:

ELI & MEGAN

i'm getting the vibe that megan is the cute little nice girl whos innocent beyond all belief, so i can see eli as an older-brother type figure. not gonna lie, it's one of my favorite plots xD quinn is rude, and chose not to give eli a younger sibling when she made him (and at that, no siblings at all), so she often keeps an eye out for plots like this. really, though, he'd probably be a bit protective and such, like all older-brotherly figures should be. but, i'm with you, and have little to no plotting muse atm... but, as with everything I suggest, feel free to add/subtract/tweak/ignore/trash any of the above :]

so, i might just have something to work with, here. I agree on the frenemies thing, because it seems likely with this combo. but, i feel like the friends half of that equation would be limited to parties. like, fairly strictly limited, if that makes sense... i'm not so sure they'd get along too well anywhere outside he party scene, bu they'd probably have a lot of fun together during. unintentionally, eli might encourage that rebellious streak, because he has a reckless aspect to his persona, as well. but, as always, add/subtract anything :]

i gotta say, i love your idea for meggie and eli. it's adorable, and sounds like fun. xD i think meggie would appreciate having that sorta older figure there, like a sibling, who's looking out for her and what not. (: she'd definitely have his back, too. i don't know about back-story things as to how they'd become friends... but, megan moved here at four. so, maybe she formerly lived in detroit (i think you mentioned?) and their parents knew each other then and were good friends or something? or, when eli moved here they just seemed to click. i don't know. any thoughts there? (: i definitely like the idea, though. feel free to add/change/whatever to any of that, as well. (:

i agree. frenemies, it is. (: karolina loves any good partier/reblious encourager... so she'd be all up for hanging out for eli at parties and such. but, i do think their personalities would clash enough that, outside of a party, they'd not get along too well.

so, that works for them. i like it. (: anything to add? i can't think of much. xD
