tell me i'm an a n g e l take this to my GRAVE The black-haired teen wandered along the deserted beach, his hands shoved deep into his jacket pockets. His head bobbed to the song playing in his headphones, a string tribute to Avenged Sevenfold's song Nightmare from the new album of the same name. He didn't often find himself listening to classical, but he liked the string tribute players and so they'd found their way into his iPod. Oh how he loved his iPod - the slim black music player never left his side, and he was sure nobody would recognize him without his earbuds either in and playing or looped around his neck just waiting to be placed back into their rightful place in his ears. They were skullcandy earbuds that he'd worked his ass off to buy - when it came to his music, nothing but the best worked for him.
He chuckled: glancing up as the song ended and spotting a familiar figure in pink sitting in the dock, dipping her feet into the water. What was it with people and bright colors here? Even his brother wore more color than just the black he normally wore, usually only broken up by whatever design was on his band T-shirt of the day. He smiled as she waved, waving back and approaching her as he smoothly pulled his earbuds out, sliding the black wire around his neck in an easy, practiced motion. "Baby, there's a shark in the water." He sang to her in greeting as he approached with a grin before flopping down next to her curiously. He had a habit of randomly breaking into song, often in the middle of a conversation - if he thought of lyrics, they usually came out of his mouth in song form. "What's up, miss kar-leh? Trying to avoid the giant crowd that'll be packing this beach full later on?"
this is TAGGED for the wonderful Karolina James, why don't you give her a hand? Damen's WEARING this wonderful outfit, isn't he sexy? Karly watched him plop down on the dock next to her and she leaned back slightly, angling herself to get a better look at him. As usual, her friend wore his earbuds in their normal spot around his neck. She didn't really remember ever seeing him without those earbuds. Maybe as a kid? But, if that were the case, Karly was sure it was only because he didn't own a iPod then. It was definitely a rare sight to see him without them. But, they all had those little things that made them, them. "Of course," Karly nodded, in response to Damen's question. "Like every morning, you gotta beat the crowd to the beach or else you might as well just kiss the beach good-bye." She shrugged, a holding back a slight eye roll. For a small town, the beach seemed to always be overly crowded. It seemed to be where everyone in town conjugated. As much as Karly loved parties and people, she found the crowded beach to be annoying most times. She wasn't sure why... she just did. "Plus, my house is beyond boring, as usual." The teen added after a few seconds. Shrugging once more, she turned to Damen and grinned. "What about you; what brings Mr. Mathers to the deserted beach this morning?" Karolina raised an eyebrow, kicking her legs slightly in the cool water as she asked him this. "...Other than the fact that you're stalking me?" She added, in a joking manner. She gave a slight giggle and then shifted her attention to the water. Her caprice were getting slightly wet since she was splashing some in the water, but she didn't mind all that much. It'd warm up sooner or later today. notes: i don't mind at all. (: hopefully you can make some sense of my rambly post. haha. word count: 364 with out code. tagged: damen jacoby mathers.
